“I didn’t even really get it till after,” said Graham, who starred as Lorelai Gilmore from 2000 to 2007. “Little girls are now watching it in reruns, and I was like, ‘Oh, I’m on one of THOSE shows, like Laverne & Shirley or something.’
“I didn’t get it. And thank God, because who wants to walk around with a person who’s like, ‘You know, I’m on a show that people will remember.’ ”
With the TCA going on full circle this week Parenthood offered a visit to the set yesterday which also included a Q&A panel with the cast. Please be aware of possible spoilers for season 2 within the articles.

The Television Critics Association Press Tour kicked off Tuesday with a visit to the set of NBC’s second best drama (after Friday Night Lights, natch) Parenthood. The entire Braverman clan, save for Mae Whitman who was at the premiere of Scott Pilgrim vs. the World, was on hand to answer questions, including one about balancing storylines for the sprawling cast.
The new “Parenthood” is filmed on the Universal lot, which is where television critics’ tour, or TCA, visited Tuesday. It was the first day of summer tour, and we were actually touring — what are the odds?
Invited to a barbecue with the Braverman family from NBC's "Parenthood," I expected the veggie burgers, the chicken breasts, the salad and maybe even the corn on the cob. What I didn't expect was Monica Potter, who plays Kristina Braverman, to be fetching drinks, handing out napkins and asking if anyone needed anything.
